Ceramic tape
Ceramic tapes are composed of organic polymer materials—ceramic fire-resistant synthetic resins and high-temperature resistant fiberglass cloth, which rapidly transform into a ceramic state upon exposure to open flame. During fires, the “ceramicized” hard shell effectively acts as a flame retardant, fireproof, and insulating barrier, withstanding temperatures up to 1200°C and ensuring electrical continuity. Mainly used as a fire-resistant layer for wires and cables, replacing mica tape, and also serving as an insulating layer. Widely applied in the new energy battery industry, significantly enhancing battery safety. Utilized in the production of high, medium, and low voltage fire-resistant cables, flexible fire-resistant cables, marine cables, and mining cables.
